Discussion: When Solomon became king over Israel, the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream and asked Solomon what He could give him. Solomon’s answer is found in 1 Kings 3:9. He didn’t ask for riches or health or anything else. He asked for God to him an obedient heart so that he could judge God’s people and so he could discern between good and evil. As a husband, how can this verse apply to you as you lead your wife and family? Take time to pray this verse back to God as your heart-felt request to Him.
