Discussion Questions:
- Are the words you say to each acceptable in the sight of God?
- Are the words in your thoughts when you are angry with each other acceptable in the sight of God?
- Are the words your children hear from your mouth about your spouse acceptable in the sight of God?
If you answered no to any of these questions, spend some time confessing it to God and seeking His forgiveness. Then next time some unacceptable words try to pass through the gate of your teeth and out of your mouth, rely on the strength of God and his help to refrain from those words and use words that you could say if He were standing in the room with you.
