Today we invite the people of God to join us in fasting and prayer for a revival in America. Beginning at 6 am we will be giving a focus area of prayer for each hour until 10 pm. Please join us each hour in prayer. Throughout today, we have followed 2 Chronicles 7:14. We, God’s people, have humbled ourselves before Him. We have fasted and prayed as we seek His presence. And we have spent time repenting of our own sins and interceding for the sins of our nation. Now in this hour we ask God to hear us from heaven.
8 pm: Revival prayer focus:
This hour we are praying for God to hear our confessions and repentance and our prayer for revival
Revival begins with God’s people.
God is not a “name it and claim it” God. However we do have the assurance from God’s Word that He does hear us. Prayerfully read these verses and pray them back to God as your read them.
John 9:31 – “We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will.”
1 Peter 3:12 – “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
1 John 5:15 – “And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.”
Psalm 66:17-20 – “I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue. If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; but God has surely listened and has heard my prayer. Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!”
Jeremiah 29:12-13; “Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
God Hears Us
We have spent the day calling on God and coming into His presence. We have poured out heart to him in prayer and He promised that when we seek him with all our heart, we will find Him. As we have prayerfully examined our heart and our own guilt, and asked God’s forgiveness as He revealed sin our in our lives, we can know that our hearts are clean before Him. We can also know that Revival in our nation is within His will because His Word tells us that he doesn’t want anyone to perish. So we can have assurance right now that God hears us.
So in this hour, pray for 2 Chronicles 7:14 back to God and ask Him to hear us, His people. And pray for him to send a revival in America.

Father, we have spent the day fasting and praying as we’ve poured out our hearts before you. We’ve humbled ourselves, acknowledging and confessing our sin and the sins of our nation. Now, God we ask that you who keeps His promises will hear us from Heaven the prayers we have made throughout the day today and send a revival in America.
Father, we are here. The people called by your name. Today, we come to you brokenhearted, acknowledging how we, your people, have allowed this nation to turn so far away from you. And today, we ask you to revive our hearts. Revive your Church. Revive our homes, families, and marriages. Move among us. We invite you to be Lord in each one of us.
In the name of Jesus, Amen.
