Luke 22:19

luke 22 19

The King of kings left the splendor of heaven to live among fishermen. He was born in a stable. He had dinner with sinners. Everywhere He went, He associated with people who were lost to a world of sin. People who desperately needed the Bread of Life. In John 6:35 Jesus said, I am the bread of life. As His body was torn by the whip and nailed to a cross, His body and blood became the sacrifice for our sins. He invites us to come to the table. There is no one unwelcomed or unwanted. In fact, everyone sitting around the table, except for Jesus, are sinners…sinners who have been redeemed. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done or where you are. He holds His hand out to you now. The invitation has your name on it. Would you join the sinners who have been redeemed and take your place at the table?
