Julia Bruce is founder and CEO of Wellspring Christian Ministries, a non-profit, 501c3 religious ministry focusing on bringing revival to America by renewing church leadership and redeeming Christian marriages. She is also the author of God, Love, and Marshmallow Wars, a book of 365 guided activities for couples to strengthen their marriage relationship and learn from the Bible God’s design for marriage.
Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Science in Professional Counseling. As a pastor’s daughter, she has grown up in church and she combines her educational background with her strong Biblical background to energize, encourage, and equip church leaders and couples to keep serving God.

Renewing church leadership through self-care and mental health coaching.
Recognizing that ministry of any kind is difficult work and a constant spiritual battle, self-care is important to keep our church and ministry leaders serving in the calling. Julia takes a Biblical approach to self-care and teaches ministry leaders to recognize the spiritual battles around them and the importance of self-care to help manage stress, burnout, and compassion fatigue. We’ll help your ministry staff and lay leaders understand the importance of practicing Biblical self-care.
As a mental health coach, Julia provides a listening ear and helps connect ministry leaders and couples to appropriate services, when needed. She is in process of receiving certification through the American Association of Christian Counselors as a Certified Mental Health Coach. We partner with pastors all over the U.S. to help them meet the mental health needs of their congregation and staff and there is 100% confidentiality.
Redeeming Christian marriages.
A vital step to seeing revival in America is to return God to the head of our homes. Julia helps couples learn their God-given roles in marriage and how God intended for the family to function, including having a personal relationship with Christ.
By redeeming Christian marriages, we can bring revival to America, one home at a time. Approaching revival from a family stance will see more children being raised in two-parent homes, less children in foster care, an increase in morals and integrity, and a decrease in crime, violence, and division.
Other responsibilities.
Julia is also the Senior Director of Foster Care for Florida Baptist Children’s Homes dba One More Child. She started as an Adoption Specialist and was promoted to Director of Foster Care 18 months later and in August 2020 accepted the position as Senior Director of Foster Care. When she first started as Foster Care director, she had one staff and 28 foster homes in four counties. Since that time, she has grown her team to include 10 staff serving over 100 foster homes in eight counties.
Julia serves on the Board for Baymeadows Center for Hope and Healing and is currently writing curriculum for their ministry program.
Julia loves serving the Lord and joining Him wherever He is at work and calls her to go.

In this book Julia uses her degrees in psychology and professional counseling to take a Biblical approach to self-care to help people serving in the ministry not burn-out, give-up, and walk away from the call God placed on their lives. Whether your ministry position is janitor, volunteer, or the senior pastor, this book will help you recognize the areas in your life that are depleted and need a little GLC (God’s Loving Care) so you can keep doing what God has called you to. You’re assignment in the Kingdom of God is vitally important! Micah 5:5
The prophet Micah, foretold about the birth of Jesus in Micah chapter 5, including that he would be born in Bethlehem. He also prophesied that Jesus would be our peace. In a chaotic world, it’s good to remember that Jesus is our peace. He has reconciled and redeemed us as he paid the penalty for our sin. Because he did, we have peace with God. But we can also have peace no matter what happens in the world around us. Jesus said in John 14:27, Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Rest in the peace that Jesus offers to you.
