Praying for Revival
Father, to serve you is to love you with all our heart, mind and soul. It is to obey you in all things and to enjoy You forever. Our nation does not serve you, O God. It serves itself. As the Bible shows us with Israel, a nation that does not serve you will not stand. For you are holy and just and cannot abide sin. Yet we know that you are slow to anger and your mercies are new every morning. So we pray for a revival in our nation, that our people would repent and seek your forgiveness. May we be a nation that serves you with joyful and obedient hearts so that you will be glorified.
Lord, send a revival and let it begin in me.
