Praying for Revival
Father, your people unite together in humility, bowing before you, crying out in repentance on behalf of our nation. This pandemic has swept across our nation, but we seek your face and ask that the Holy Spirit now sweep across our lands with a revival that turns our nation back to you. We ask you to end this pandemic, heal our sick and our land, but to also heal us spiritually so that America will once again be a nation that honors and glorifies you – that we will be known throughout the world as a nation that fears and worships you.
We bring before you the Ukrainian nation and ask that you fight their battle for them, just as you did Israel. Redeem this situation by drawing many people to you. May people of both sides of the war discover that Jesus is the only true source of peace, safety, comfort, truth, and freedom. Jesus, we know that you are our hope – not governments, money, power, position, or diplomacy. You and only you are the hope of the world and the hope for the Ukrainians. Bring an end to the war. Deliver the Ukrainians from evil. Have mercy on them, O Lord, and heal their land. Give them the chance to develop as a nation that values truth, justice, and freedom that is rooted and grounded in You. Remove all hatred and violence and replace with your peace and love. Protect the soldiers fighting and give them courage. Bring them home safely to their families. Protect and provide for the refugees. Bring peace to their land and be glorified before them so that all the world will know you are God.
Lord, send a revival and let it begin in me.
