Ministry is hard, so we must renew
No matter how you look at it, ministry is one of the hardest and most rewarding jobs. It is hard, because the moment you say “yes” to God’s call to serve Him, you become a target of Satan who is constantly attacking you in every way possible. The spiritual warfare that goes on around you is Satan’s way of either making you ineffective in the ministry or to take you out of ministry. Renewing church leaders is vital for them to avoid burnout, and compassion fatigue.
Jesus invited the disciples to renew themselves
But God doesn’t leave us unprepared. We have the Armor of God that equips us for the spiritual warfare. When we look at the ministry of Jesus and the disciples, Jesus recognized after He sent them out to do ministry that they returned tired and hungry, but also full of excitement. Jesus invited them to come away with him for a while to rest, renew, and revive so they could go back out and do more ministry. By renewing church leaders, they too can come away, rest, renew and revive themselves and their ministry so they can keep serving in the call to ministry God gave them.
Renewing church leaders through self-care

Renewing church leaders through mentoring and coaching
Additionally, we are renewing church leadership through mentoring and coaching. Every church leader can benefit from a ministry partner mentor who can help them navigate areas of ministry that are new from someone who has “been there/done that.” We help pair church leadership with another person in a like position to mentor, coach, and be an accountability partner in the ministry.
Renewing church leaders through mental health coaching
We also recognize that as church leadership extend empathy and help people navigate life that stress, burnout, and compassion fatigue take their toil. As a mental health coach, we are here to be an unbiased, non-judging ear and to help connect you with licensed Christian counselors (if needed), to help you process the emotions that come as you serve Christ by helping others.
