In a pandemic virus, self care is as important as masks and washing hands. Get practical, daily self care tips to help you get through the pandemic.
Sunday’s Spiritual Self-Care Tip
“And he said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat.” — Mark 6:31
Spend at least 15 minutes praying. Be sure that you are also taking time to listen to the Holy Spirit. Prayer is about communication between you and God – but if you do all the talking, you’ll miss what He has to say to you. It can be helpful to start by making a list of people and prayer needs you have and pray for them one at a time, then pause and listen. Also be sure to include seeking God’s forgiveness for any unconfessed sins.
(Don’t forget to practice social distancing, wash your hands and wear your mask!)
