If you know how to play, then find a court and play a game. Or get another couple to go and play couple and against couple. If you don’t know how to play, find a tennis instructor that will teach you the basics of the game…or sign up for lessons. After the game, enjoy some ice cream together.

Go to your local fire station with ice cream, cones, and toppings. Drop them off, thank them for their service and ask them if you can pray for their safety. If they say no, then simply let them know that you will be praying specifically for them today. Collect as many of their names as you can so you can call them by name as you bring them before God in prayer. If they agree to you praying for them, ask them if they have specific requests you can pray for in addition to praying for their safety.

Sometimes we just need a few hours to be kids again…to leave behind stress and responsibilities and just have fun. Create contests…set your own rules…have fun!
