Father, why do we attempt to hide our sins? You are omniscient and omnipresent — you know everything and you are everywhere. Yet we choose to live in misery and guilt that leads to depression, anxiety, fear, and disappointment. But when we confess our sin, leaving them behind us and choose to live according to your commands, there is peace, joy, contentment, and mercy. So, Father, please reveal my sins to me. Bring them into the light so that I can confess and forsake them. We also aske that reveal the sins of this nation and that we will confess and forsake our national sins and that we will turn back to your mercy and grace. Revival begins with a contrite and humble heart and revival is what we desperately need and seek.
Lord, send a revival and let it begin in me.
