God’s intention for marriage is for a couple to be united in every area of life. While united, we also maintain our personalities. We don’t need to be so co-dependent on each other that we lose sight of who we are and our likes and dislikes. While we recognize our uniqueness as God created us to be, we also need to be united in thinking, love, feelings, and goals. As you discuss the list above, determine how your personalities are united in each area and how they are different. Do the differences cause conflict or do they work together to build a stronger marriage? Where do you need to work to build unity and lessen conflict?
