Do you have “impossibles” in your life ? You can trust God with your impossibles because what is impossible for man is possible with God.
Growing up, we used to sing a song and the lyrics were:
God can do anything, anything, anything God can do anything but fail

He’s the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end
He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul
God can do anything, anything, anything
God can do anything but fail
When faced with an impossible, remember God cannot fail
We all have “impossible” in our lives. There is no way to live life without running into an “impossible” every now and then. But, God can do anything but fail. The One who is the beginning and the end has everything in control. The question then becomes, “Do I trust God with my ‘Impossibles?'” God may not always respond with the exact answer that we wanted, but God does always respond within His perfect design and plan for each one of us.
Remember that you are not the only human with an impossible standing in front of you. The Children of Israel found the Red Sea impossible and God parted the sea.
Daniel was in the Lion’s Den, but God shut the mouths of the lions.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were in the fiery furnace, but Jesus was there with them and kept them safe.
Joseph was thrown in a pit, traded by his brothers as a slave, thrown into prison for a crime he didn’t commit, but God was with him and used him to save many people in a 7 year famine.
A woman with an issue of blood had spent all her money seeking healing, but just by touch the hem of Jesus robe, the woman was made well.
5,000 men, plus women and children were fed with only 5 loaves of bread and two fish.
You can trust God with your impossibles.
Shouldn’t trust God with our impossibles be easy?
If we truly believe that, then trusting Him with any impossible situation should be easy. But if we are honest – it isn’t easy at all. It’s human nature to plan, problem solve, and figure a way out but usually our “way out” ends up being one big mess. Abraham had been promised a son, but he and Sarah were too old to have a child, so they help God out with their own plan to accomplish God’s plan. The result was the descendent of that child would be a constant thorn in the side to the nation of Israel – even to today.
What is impossible for man is always possible with God
In Luke 18 Jesus had just taught that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of needle tan a rich man to get into heaven. The people’s response was, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus replied with verse 27: What is impossible with men is possible with God.”
None of us has the means within ourselves to save us from the penalty of sin – which is eternal death. It is only the Son of God who came to seek and to save that which was lost (Luke 19:10). God is the one who convicts the sinner, inviting each one of us into His grace and forgiveness. It is only God who raised Jesus from the dead so that we could have eternal life. If God has the power to raise Jesus from the dead, then He has the power to fix your impossibles too. And if we truly trust that He has the power and we truly believe He has a perfect plan for each one of us, then we can trust Him to take our impossibles to possibles – even when His answer looks different than we expect.
